~ Hello guys I am back and ready to mingle... Or to write... So without further adieu let us begin.
So one of the reasons why I am posting this blog is for people who find this know, in advance, how to deal with PVC suits and PVC material in general. Or just to make you laugh. :’D This is also posted for those few people who were in the same shoes as I was, so they don’t feel alone. Dun worry guys I am here!

I was so excited in Septmber for my upcoming Catwoman costume that finding the PVC material was a huge joy for me. Considering Serbia is fucked up, finding PVC material in a local fabric store was a huge success! I was happy, I bought it, I took it to the girls of She&She and just waited for it to be made. And when it was done it was a dream come true. A perfectly tailored suite just for me and my measures. So I took it, finished the rest of the costume, got it on and went to the convention. And here it all starts.

So first of all PVC is a huge isolation cube. It is so hot in it, you have to sweat. YOU JUST HAVE TO. And that alone makes a problem. But it does not give out the smell... At that moment... After the whole day at the convention, I took it off, I put it away, and forgot about it. Just left it in my closet and waited for the next time to use it, just like I do with any other costume I have. And that was a HUGE mistake. The next time I used it, it smelled like a jungle! I SWEAR TO GOD A ZOO WAS MORE PLESENT THEN MY SMELLY PVC SUIT. This suit had such a HORRIBLE smell that I was first embarrassed to wear it, but had to, IN A PUBLIC PLACE, and everyone around me asked what is that stench and had watery eyes. As soon as I finished I took it out on the wind to get out the smell but it took over 2 MONTHS for stench to MOSTLY come out. The scent is still there but people barely smell it. Unless they are really close or just are sniffing it. No perfume, no baby powder, no nothing can help it NOW. But at least it is not as stinky as it was.

To conclude all of this is that PVC is a horrible material and when you wear it you have to take some drastic measures. First off all, if you can change PVC with any other fabric that looks similar DO IT. JUST DO IT. TRUST ME ON THIS. If you really wish to wear it, then wear it with ether a thin bodysuit made out of cotton fabric, or put baby powder on your body. If you want it to smell nice then perfume it BEFORE PUTTING IT ON FOR THE FIRST TIME, if you perfume it afterwards it will mix with sweat and will smell even worse. Take it out to dry on the wind IMMEDIATELY when you take it off or come home. Do not put it away even for a second if you don’t have to, or say I will do it tomorrow. DO NOT DO THAT. Unless you wish to burn yours and everyone’s eyes and sense of smell.
I hope this little experience of mine helped you out in a way, or if not at least made you laugh!
